So what do TEP do?


TEP (formerly Stablemate) are human resource professionals for regional Australia and primary and rural industries. We have a solid history working for both businesses and individuals. Here is an overview of what we do

Migration
Both temporary and permanent visa services to those wishing to both work and remain in Australia.

Outbound Exchange
A supervised exchange program for Australians to travel abroad and work in the horse and rural industries.

Outbound Assistance for Working Holiday Makers
We can help with visas, airfares and insurance. Take advantage of our wealth of travel and exchange experience.

Inbound Exchange
A supervised exchange program that allows foreign applicants to travel to Australia for social and cultural exchange via working in the horse industry.

Training and Assessment
Assessing workers in the horse industry against equivalent qualifications. Additionally, we are working on a model for online training and assessment that will allow people with skills to gain recognition and further develop their skills through training and gain access to international qualifications.

Recruitment
Placing Australians and Australian visa holders into positions in the horse industry in Australia.

General Consultancy and Industry Support
In addition to the above services, TEP regularly provides industry support and consultancy in many ways. These include –

 

  • Providing advice on vocational training and rights
  • Providing career guidance
  • Assisting universities, colleges and schools with the development of their curriculum
  • Mediating between industry educators and employers
  • Mediating regularly between industry, employers and employees
  • We give employers and employees easy access to awards and information about their rights and responsibilities, as well as industry specific information regarding taxation, insurance and superannuation
  • Supporting awards for workers in the industry to recognize the importance of their work
  • Conducting and completing questionnaires for industry and governing bodies to gauge industry concerns and requirements
  • Representing industry, businesses and individuals to government departments such as DIAC (the Department of Immigration and Citizenship), DEWR (the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations) and the ABS (Australian Bureau of Statistics)
  • Coordinating work and travel scholarships for young Australians working in rural industries
