Brenda regularly advocates on behalf of employers and industry and has held many positions of leadership throughout the years. She is currently the member of the Migration Institute of Australia Regional committee; whose goals include advocating for regional migration pathways and regional employers.

Between 1996 and 2012 Brenda travelled extensively looking for and interviewing skilled workers for the horse industry.  She spoke at numerous colleges and universities including in the United Kingdom, the Netherland, Russia, Ukraine, South Korea, South Africa, Argentina, Turkey and Australia.
