Please read these terms and conditions carefully before accepting the services available through the Stablemate Staff Agency, trading name of TEP Pty Ltd (the company). By submiting this online application you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions below. 

How your information will be collected

I agree to the company collecting personal information from me in connection with my application for work. I agree that any information I provide is accurate and current.

I understand this information is for recruitment use and will be accessed by the company employees, agents or contractors in order to assist you.
 
Personal information will be collected from you when you have completed the company online application, submitted your CV and additional information and agreed to the terms and conditions.  

Personal information will also be collected when we receive:

  • any reference about you;
  • results of inquiries that we might make of your former employers, work colleagues, educational institutions, professional associations or registration body;
  • the results of any competency or medical test; performance feedback (whether positive or negative);          any complaint from or about you in the workplace;
  • any information about a workplace accident in which you are involved;
  • we receive any information about any insurance investigation, litigation, registration or professional disciplinary matter, criminal matter, inquest or inquiry in which you are involved;
  • you provide us with any additional information about you.

How your information will be used in connection with

  • assessing or effecting your actual or possible work placement;
  • our assessment of your ongoing performance and prospects;
  • our management of any complaint, investigation or inquiry in which you are involved;
  • any insurance claim or proposal that requires disclosure of your personal or sensitive information  

Although all information that we ask for is purely voluntary if you choose to not provide the information we seek we may be limited in our ability to assist you through the services we provide.

The company work on a paper free system and any information collected from you will be held on your electronic file. Any information that is submitted in paper form will be electronically attached to your file and then destroyed. Therefore please do not submit original documents.

General Terms and Conditions

The company gives no guarantee to you of the continued availability of any particular job advertised through the company and will not be liable to you should an advertiser have filled the vacancy at any time prior to removal of the advertisement from the company’s site orother advertising sites. 

Whilst the company takes efforts to ensure that jobs advertised are for actual job vacancies, it gives no guarantee to you that every job advertisement represents an actual job vacancy.

The company reserves the right to withhold names and contact details of employers advertising positions through the company’s site or other advertising sites.

The company reserves the right to withhold your details from any positions which are felt to be unsuitable for any reason.

If you are put forward for a position through the company and you are accepted for this position you must notify the company (by email, fax or phone) of start date of employment and you must also notify the company of termination of employment.

Notification must be give to the company if you have found employment by independent means or are no longer wishing for the company to find you work.

You must notify the company if an offer of employment has been made by an employer and the offer does not correspond with the description given by the employer or the position is unsuitable for any reason.

If on accepting a position through the company, the position proves to be unsuitable please contact the company as we may be able to help. The company will attempt to assist is solving any problems and in the event of unmanageable problems we will attempt to find further suitable employment for you.

It is up to you to keep in touch with the company visa email, phone or fax giving details of your availability, any change in circumstance or job requirement. 

Abusive use of drugs and/or alcohol will result in your dismissal from the company register.

In all cases applicants who need a work visa to work legally in Australia must provide the company with the relevant visa information. If your visa has work limitations it is important you know what the limitations are and that you comply with them.

In no circumstances is the company responsible for fares or travelling expenses incurred when taking up, during or on termination of employment with the employer.

The company does not accept liability for any loss and/or injury sustained by any person as a result of an accident involving the company its employees and agents.

All applicants involved in any activity promoted and/or managed by the company do so at their own risk.

The company may be required at times to change the format of an individual’s resume/CV to suit our application process. This will ensure each application the best chance of success and that the outcome of any application is forwarded to the company directly.
